Andy Cook is the Bantams.Online Player of the Month, an award voted for by Bradford City fans. He picked up 59% of the fans votes, the runner-up was Romoney Crichlow with 25% of the fans votes.

Bradford City supporters have recognised an early turnaround in form throughout July and August which has delivered six goals with one assist in 8 appearances for the Bantams, this translates more accurately into 450 minutes of football as some of his appearances were from the bench . His tally includes two goals against Hartlepool United, goals in both Carabao Cup rounds against Hull City and Blackburn Rovers respectively and he has transformed his fortunes from a player that was expected to play second fiddle to Vadaine Oliver to one of the first names on the team sheet. His average rating for this period given by the fans is a very decent 7.5.

Earlier in the season Andy Cook admitted that in the previous season his fitness was not where it should have been and that lack of competition for places had contributed to a prolonged dip in form. But spurred on by competition for places and looking in much better shape he looks like a new signing, proving that Bradford City could have had their 20-goal a season striker all along. Cook has twice been voted Man of the Match so far and he has certainly put any doubts some fans had about his ability to bed.

Runner-Up Romoney Crichlow who arrived on loan from Huddersfield Town was unlucky not to have won the Player of the Month award with his consistent performances at the heart of the Bradford City defence, regularly scoring among the players awarded the highest fan rating for every match, his contribution throughout July and August deserves a special mention.
