It is great news that the Bradford City Football Shirt design phone cases have finally arrived. Not just because they are now available in the shop, but it is great fun designing them.
That 19887-88 Bradford City shirt
Part of the task was to try to recreate the shirts as close as possible to the real thing. This is especially true of the classic Bradford City 1987-88 home shirt design, where many, including the official football club make the mistake of putting the stripes in the wrong order. It is a common mistake that is due to the fact that back in the 80’s when the replica shirt was on sale, there were many that were out that had the claret stripe in the middle, and they were more common than the correct shirt with the amber stripe in the middle. So if you own the original Bradford City 1987-88 football shirt and it has the amber stripe in the middle, with the claret stripes on either side, it would be great to hear from you in the comments, because you’ve got quite the rarity!
Effort and care in each design
But about the designs on here. In the case of the phone designs there is no simply lifting the shirt design from somewhere, it is designed bit by bit in house, right down to the Bradford Great City, the Admiral logo and event he badge has been recreated to look like it is embroidered as much as is possible on these things. It is also important that there are some differences, very minor, but they are what ensure the designs of all aspects are unique and not infringing on anyone else. The boar design is unique but the beauty of it is that the design of the kit badge on the 87-88 shirt was different anyway, because it was embroidered. Another great feature is the collar. If you look carefully enough it does have a look of the material of the actual collar used then. It is something you’ll barely be able to make out on the products, but is something that was important when designing it. Just these little things to stay as true as possible to the original.
The collars are also worth pointing out on the shirt designs for the famous Premier League shirts worn from 1999 until 2001, back in the days before kits were changed every season. Time has been taken to try to recreate the buttons and collars unique features, and it all makes a big difference.
Deciding what shirts to design
Carefully selected are some of the shirts that matter most to Bradford City fans. Those shirts that provide us with great memories of the good times, whether it was in the cup or in the league. Starting with the £14.95 standard cases, the snap cases, and then the Tough Case cases. The Snap Case is already a solid case, although it is worth noting that it is more of a display case than protective, as the top has a piece that does not protect the top of the phone, so it is worth knowing the differences between the cases depending on what your needs are when it comes to choosing what case to buy. They are all great, but if it is real protection you are looking for, you can’t go wrong with the Tough Case for the iPhone and Samsung phones.
