Mystic Bantam was accurate in telling the fortune of Bradford City by correctly predicting the exact score, which was 2-1 to Harrogate Town.
In the crystal ball reading Mystic Bantam said “Expect to see moments of frustration as Harrogate test the Bantams both aerially and physically, with periods of significant pressure” and this was very true in the first half with Harrogate Town piling on the pressure and as early as the 3rd minute having two great chances to open the scoring had it not been for two saves from goalkeeper Sam Walker.
Bradford City found themselves 2-0 down in the first half an hour, and were dominating the match. But a goal from Andy Cook coincided with the Bantams looking more like scoring again, unfortunately it never materialised. But what had Mystic Bantam had to say about this?
Well, it was close “Expect Andy Cook and Richie Smallwood to make a mark on this one too! As it is a game for the senior pro’s to take centre stage. But an error of judgement will change the course of this match”. The goal from Cook did change the momentum of the game having been dominated by the hosts, and it did come from an error of judgement from former Bantam Anthony O’Connor. At half-time it was clear manager Graham Alexander was the one “seeing red” as he made three half-time substitutions.
Overall, as predicted it was a “frustrating and difficult day” for the Bantams, and Mystic Bantam gets the boost of an exact score prediction.
Not bad for a chicken that has a crystal ball eh! Sadly for all of us Bradford City fans it wasn’t a good day, but let’s hope Mystic Bantam has some good news for us.
